The Bilston Partnership Youth Football League (BPYFL) was founded in 1999 to cater for teams in the Black Country and surrounding areas, and from just over 40 teams in its foundation year it can now boast a membership of about 300, making it one of the largest youth leagues in the Midlands. Child Protection has always been our priority, and from the outset the League has
taken a very hard line over misbehaviour from the touchline, and especially in the
support for our referees. Working with the Referees Association we regularly support
training courses for referees and now also have a regular linesman’s course. We are
probably the only youth league in the Midlands, if not the country, that can boast
a fully qualified referee for every match -
We pride ourselves on the approachability of the Management Committee, and don’t
place restrictions on when we can be contacted -
A unique feature of the BPYFL is its charity fundraising and at every age-
